Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of Hasbro Transformers:Animated Voyager Bulkhead. The way the front wheels rotate to form the feet is so elegant. This guy “automorphs” In a couple of ways. When you unpop the bits that connect his shoulder flaps, it pulls pins out of the arms and springs in the shoulders flip the arms forward. Then when you move the front of the vehicle back, the head automagically flips over.

Truck to Robot: 0:09
Robot to Truck: 0:34
Speed run to Robot: 1:00
Speed run to Truck: 1:10
2x Run: 1:19
End credits: 1:29
Production Note: 378 photos. 1 hour shoot. Might be my shortest video. So the sequence that runs during the end credits is timed to 19.5s (with the last .5s being the first photo as a freeze frame). By sheer coincidence, the speed run segment was exactly 19.5s. This is about as short a video as can be made without the end credits being longer than the speed run.
Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
