HAVE YOU EVER SAID

This is a poem I wrote and put to music. If you ever feel down because you have more than you can bear, listen to this song to provide you some comfort. God loves you. Have you ever said, Life is not fair? Or cried out to God, in your heart’s despair? “Why me, Lord?” Why must I bear the pain? Why not send the sun, why all this rain?” But if you listen quietly, after you cry, You will hear God’s voice and His reply. “In your darkest hours, don’t worry I am there. In your times of need, I hear your prayer. I promised you an abundant life, not one without trouble or strife.” “Life is not fair, but why not you? Shouldn’t you feel my blessings too?” I sent the SON and He loves you And together He walks you through “As long as you are alive, our work is not done, and together, through it all, the battle is won. I am proud of your journey here on earth. Your path was designed even before your birth.” “You are my child, in my arms you belong, and in your weakness, I make you strong”. You are a blessing to others in all you do. Which allows my light to shine brightly through”. “I’ve chosen you, my child, for others to see Your joy and hope that only comes from me. Others see your struggles, and they ponder, How do you go on when life pulls you under?“ “But you my child, of who I truly love, persevere. Never forgetting me; your praises so sincere. That is why I love you and will always be there, Never giving you burdens too heavy to bear.” “Life is not fair, but why not you? Shouldn’t you feel my blessings too?” I sent the Son and He loves you And together He walks you through “As long as you are alive, our work is not done, and together, through it all, the battle is won. They are part of my grander plan, and the role you play is in my hand.” “Life is not fair, but why not you?
