Hearing Loops—The Basics
Presenters: Ken Hollands and Andy Jankowski
How do hearing loops work? How do you assess where loops
can be used? When can you install a simple perimeter loop
successfully? This presentation will answer these questions and
compare the merits and shortcomings of voltage versus current
loop amplifiers. The presenters will describe six basic loop
configurations and when to use them. Finally, they will demonstrate
how to install a perimeter loop for a meeting and how to
connect a loop to a TV.
