High Hinge | Waltz

A variation on the Hinge Line. 0:00-0:27 Angle 1 0:28-0:47 Angle 2 0:48-1:08 Angle 3 1:09-1:25 Angle 4 1:26-1:49 Lady's Footwork and Leg Action 1:50-2:26 Man's Footwork and Leg Action Script: " Welcome back to our Channel. in today's video we're looking at the High Hinge danced in the Waltz. The High Hinge is a variation of the Hinge figure. We have made a video in the past on the Hinge Line and it might be beneficial for you watch that video before watching this video as this is a variation on that figure. As with the Hinge Line, we are exiting with a natural action slipping back into closed position. You could choose to dance this figure with a lot of sway as we are or with less sway, both would look very nice. And one final time as a couple. You can see our wind up with our rotation to the right before rotating back to the left for the hinge and slipping back into the closed position. You can see the footwork is: Heel Toe Toe and Toe Toe Heel for the lady and now for the man. We are dancing Toe Heel Toe and Toe Heel. Now as you can tell clearly the lady has more steps in this figure than the man and that represents the changing of body position."
