Variopool supplies three types of bulkheads in order to efficiently divide pools into multifunctional areas to hold various activities simultaneously. For example, a 50m competition pool with two bulkheads can be split into three separate areas for maximum productivity.
The various groups can now operate individually undisturbed while the pool is used to its maximum potential.
Types of Bulkheads:
Vertical or Submersible Bulkheads
Horizontal or Traversable Bulkheads
Hinged Bulkheads
The bulkheads can be custom built and specifically designed to hold all types of starters blocks and timing equipment, removable handrails, racing lanes, or finger grips.
Variopool bulkheads comply to the strict specifications as set out by local authorities, the latest European Norms EN13451-11 (British Standards BS13451-11) as well as all relevant FINA regulations for all Olympic and competition swimming events.
