Exercise requires the use of a tennis ball, spiky ball or massage ball.
Using the tennis ball is similar to hands releasing trigger points/knots held in the tissue.
We’re aiming to release, soften, melt the soft tissue. So aim for a element of gentleness rather than poking the ball into tender areas! Aim to not exceed 6/10 with regards to pain felt.
Heat is very successful in reducing pain & discomfort so use a wheat bag or hot water bottle.
