HonCC's Architecture, Engineering & Construction Technologies Program

Are you in search of an in-demand career path that combines both creative design and state-of-the-art technology? Our Architecture, Engineering and Construction Technologies (AEC) program will prepare you for immediate employment as architectural or engineering drawing technicians, or construction management interns. If you are already employed in this field, our AEC program can help you improve your knowledge and skills so that you can gain a competitive edge in your chosen field. Students enrolled in our program learn a variety of marketable skills in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction technologies, including 2D and 3D drawing with Auto CAD, 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) Autodesk Revit, visualization tools like 3DS Max and Autodesk Fusion, Lumion rendering software, Trimble Sketchup 3D modeling software, ProCore Project management software, ProEst estimating software, and Microsoft Project Scheduling software. Students also learn to utilize specialized equipment used in their respective fields, such as total station surveying equipment, 3D LIDAR Scanners, additive manufacturing technologies, including 3D scanning and 3D printing, and virtual reality and augmented reality technologies. We also offer continuing education CAD training in Revit and AutoCAD through a partnership with the Pacific Center of Advanced Technology Training (PCATT), so you can always keep your skills up-to-date – even after graduation!
