How to decrease High CPU usage in windows 11/10 | Boost up performance & fps 🚀 #video #windows #cpu #windows11 #windows10 #cpuperformance #ytvideos #tech In this video, I demonstrate how to reduce high CPU usage and boost both overall performance and FPS. First, you need to edit your power plan settings. If the "Ultimate Performance" option is available on your PC, select it; otherwise, choose the "Balanced" mode. I will upload a video on how to get the "Ultimate Performance" option. Then, click on "Change plan settings" and apply the specific adjustments I have outlined. This will result in a significant boost to your PC's performance and FPS. Next, open the Device Manager and disable the HPET (High Precision Event Timer), as it consumes a substantial amount of CPU resources. Therefore, you should disable it immediately. Afterward, identify and disable any unwanted startup apps or programs—specifically those you do not wish to launch automatically when your PC boots up, as they run in the background and consume CPU cycles. Finally, restart your PC. You will now observe that your PC's CPU usage has decreased significantly. Thank you.😊 Chapters: 0:00 - Intro 0:34 - Edit Power Plan 2:14 - Disable HPET in Device Manager 2:48 - Disable unwanted Startup Apps 4:13 - Outro Key CPU Optimization Tips: • Manage Startup Apps: Disable unnecessary programs that start with Windows by using Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc). Then, Startup tab, which frees up CPU cycles. • Close Background Processes: Use Task Manager to identify and close applications consuming high CPU resources. • Keep System Cool: Ensure fans are clean and dust-free. Overheating causes the CPU to throttle speed to prevent damage. • Update Drivers & BIOS: Regularly update your motherboard BIOS and chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website to ensure optimal performance and compatibility. • Enable Turbo Boost/Core Performance Boost: Enter your computer's BIOS/UEFI settings and ensure features like Intel Turbo Boost or AMD Core Performance Boost are enabled. • Use High-Performance SSD: Ensure your operating system is installed on a fast NVMe or SATA SSD, reducing bottlenecks that make the CPU wait for data. • Malware Scan: Run a security scan, as malicious software can cause high, unnecessary CPU usage. Thanks for watching! 😊🙏
