This tutorial was highly requested, in my previous crochet video I did a tutorial of my flower top🌸 and showed you guys just a few tips on how to make it in this video I’ll be showing you how I did the mesh portion in a more up close shot . 🧶
The size hook you use and yarn aren’t important but in this video im using a size 5mm an im usin acrylic yarn .
DECREASING METHOD🧶:
Insert a decrease in the last two stitches
chain 2 then turn your work
place a decrease in the first two stitches
Work your way down to the non decreasing side (no decreases )
When you finish chain 2 (no decrease )
Work your way back down to the decreasing side but before you finish off that row decrease in the last 2
Then chain up turn your work
And place a decrease in the first two and continue this pattern until you have one stitch left .
This method is only if you’re trying t achieve th slant, if you just want to decrease mesh stitch for a neater and less noticeable look I recommend placing your decreases in the middle as opposed to the very beginning or end . 🧶
