This video shows you how to program the 18x picaxe using a breadboard and a homemade programming cable. You can use the same instructions to program the picaxe 18, 18a, and 18m.
Stuff you will need...
Picaxe 18x
Wire jumpers - short pieces of No. 20 or 22 wire.
4.7k ohm resistor
22k ohm resistor
10k ohm resistor
Breadboard
4.5v to 5v power supply - I used 3 D cells
