Subtitles :- -------------- Hey guys, welcome back to NEXTGENBLOGGER and in this video I want to show you how to smooth keyframes in VSDC video editor. Now to start off, I've already opened up VSDC and first we will write some text on top of the screen. So to do that, go to 'Add object', go to 'Text', click on 'Text' and now click on 'OK'. Next, create the text box like this and now let's write some text. Next, I would like to increase the size of this text to 100 pixels and I would like to center align this text box. So to do that, click on this option that is 'Vertical align center'. Next, I would like to resize the text box a little bit like this and now I would like to decrease the duration of this text. So currently the duration of this text is 10 seconds. So I would like to decrease the duration of this text from 10 seconds to 3 seconds. Next, what I want to do is I want to move this text from this position to this particular position right here. So to do that, double click on the text layer and now go to 'Add object', go to 'Movement', click on 'Movement' and now click on 'OK'. Next, move the text from this position to this particular position right here and so now if I play the video for you. So as you can see the text is moving from this position to this particular position. Now, I've already added two keyframes. One is at 0 seconds and the other one is at 3 seconds. So you need to open up the key editor to see them. So let's open up the key editor. So select this 'Movement 1' layer and now look inside the 'Movement effect settings' which is present inside the 'Properties window' and right here you're going to find this option called 'Time remapping' where currently the values are '0;100'. So click on the three dots which is present on the extreme right of the 'Time remapping' option and this will open up the key editor and as you can see we have already added two keyframes. One is at 0 seconds and the other one is at 3 seconds and the transition that is happening between these two keyframes is happening in a straight, linear and mechanical motion. So let me play the video for you. All right. Now if you want to smoothen the transition between these two keyframes what you can do is you can click on this 'Templates' drop-down list and you can select any transition that you want between the two keyframes. So let's say let me try this particular transition that is 'Circ' and so now if I play the video for you. Okay. Let's try some other transition. So let's say let me try this particular transition that is 'Cubic Out' and so now if I play the video for you. Okay. Let's try some other transition. So let's say let me try 'Quad In' and so now if I play the video for you. So this is how you can smoothen the transition between two keyframes. Just click on this 'Templates' drop-down list and select the transition that you want between the two keyframes. If you want to go back to the original straight, linear transition what you need to do is you need to click on this drop-down list and you need to select this option that is 'Linear parameter change' and the transition between the two keyframes will go back to how it was originally. So this is how you can smooth keyframes in VSDC video editor. Do let me know your thoughts in the comment section below. Like the video and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
