Design Recommendation: 1. Stripper: - H2S in bottom product lower than1 ppm vol - 80% jet flood & 75 % maximum for downcomer flood - Keep 15°C above dew point - Reflux ration: 1.0 – 1.3 molar in respect to overhead product - Stripping steam flow rate 10-12 kg of steam / actual m3 of Stripper bottom product - Recommended specifications: 95% on ASTM D 86 for overhead product and condenser temperature. 2. The recommended specifications for quick convergence of Main Column are: - Set temperature of fired heater to vaporize minimum 75% wt (the liquid in % wt. at heater outlet shall be 25%) - Flash zone operating temperature not higher than 380°C - Set 15°C above dew point temperature at top - Stripping steam 20-25 kg of steam / m3 of bottom product - Side draw flow rates - PA return temperatures, flow rates or duties - Bottom flow rate. 3. Debutanizer: - 80% jet flood & 75 % maximum for downcomer flood - Reflux ration: 1.0 molar in respect to feed - Recommended specifications: set desire C5+ in overhead product and C4 in bottom. 4. Naphtha Splitter: - 80% jet flood & 75 % maximum for downcomer flood - Reflux ration: minimum 0.7 molar in respect to feed - Recommended specifications: 95% on ASTM D 86 for overhead product and reflux.
