I can create a SMOOTH SURFACE too! -Encaustic demonstration

I am experimenting with some of Ampersand's panel boards in today's video. I am working with 5x5 Aquabord panels, watercolor and gouache paints , stencils, pan pastels and the We R Memory Keepers foil quill pen. All of this to create a smooth encaustic surface. Although I generally lean towards heavy and rich textures, I do know how to create a fairly smooth encaustic surface as well. Grab your coffee, sit back and relax as I create these two small artworks.
