Inguinal Hernia

This video gives the anatomical explanation for the occurrence of inguinal hernia (direct and indirect) with the help of illustrations and cadavers. The formation of the inguinal ligament, inguinal canal, its boundaries, and contents are also discussed. Location of superficial and deep inguinal rings are also illustrated. In the age of information overload and the ever-decreasing attention spans of our students, traditional didactic lectures are no longer a practical means for the delivery of information.
