Ver 1.10 This is most likely the easiest boss in the dungeon. The party formation is Ino, Dragon, Shadow, and the Octopus. With just the Shadow, you can build up to 100% physical evasion: 70% from the equipment and passives (10% from the squid armor, 10% from Murakka's Ice Weapon, 20% from the Dot Eater, and 30% from Shadow's natural evade and passives), and 30% from the 20 TP skill that grants her 30% physical and magical evasion as long as she doesn't get hit. Actually, this isn't really the true effect as the description implies. The true effect is that the buff will only be removed if she takes more than 0 damage. This means for magical attacks, you can use the 50 TP skill Shadow Hole to completely nullify any magical attacks against her, retain the buff, and become practically invincible for the turn. Once evasion has been properly built for the Shadow, you then equip her with her unique accessory to nullify Dark element attacks. For this boss, it only attacks with physical attacks and Shade; Shadow is completely invincible against it starting turn 2 if she can get off the evasion buff on turn 1 without getting hit. After the Shadow gets the gameplan setup, you cannot lose and all other actions go towards optimizing damage. Ino will use Communion for high damage, the Dragon will autoattack with Breakdust (200 Power physical attack, ignores defense) and Mad Strike (280 Power multihit attack), the Shadow will refresh SP on party members and occasionally cast Incite on herself and nullify the boss' buffs, and finally the Octopus will use the 60 TP Water magical attack to do high damage.
