INSIDE Eritrea without a guide #2 - Hidden Asmara

Another one from Eritrea, this time I head out of my usual comfort zone in Asmara and try to see what’s actually out there beyond the main streets. No guide, no real plan again — just going looking for the more hidden side of the city. I end up at the tank graveyard, wander through some of the quieter neighbourhoods, find views over the city you don’t really see talked about, and track down places like old churches and the railway station at Asmara Railway Station. There’s even bits that feel almost forgotten — like the old infrastructure and remnants of a different time — which makes the whole place feel even more unique than it already is. It’s one of those cities where everything feels slightly off the map, and you’re never fully sure what you’re going to find next.
