Insurers’ Prior Authorization Pledge Falls Flat

I promised to share my thoughts on recent announcements from insurance companies that they will improve prior authorizations for patients and providers. I’ve done my homework, and unfortunately this pledge falls flat. The truth is that Americans need more than promises. We won’t settle for a voluntary pledge to do better from an industry that has fallen so short for so long.
