This Tech Support video follows the Converge Plantwide EtherNet (CPwE) Design guidelines from Rockwell Automation®. Establishing your zones of automation (e.g., Enterprise Zone, the Industrial Demilitarized Zone (IDmZ), etc.) is the first step. Then, for a working network with minimal effort, choose networks, variable frequency drives (VFDs), human-machine interface (HMI) systems, panel views, switching management protocols and IP addresses.
