INTER HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul." - Martha Graham The rhythm of tradition and the joy of movement merged seamlessly as the school hosted the Inter House Folk Dance Competition for Classes 1 to 3. It was a vibrant celebration of culture, rhythm, and youthful exuberance, where students embraced the heritage of folk dances with enthusiasm and grace. In a showcase of unity through diversity, each house brought forth their unique traditional folk dances, captivating the audience with their movements and expressions. The competition not only highlighted the rich cultural heritage of our country but also emphasized the importance of preserving and celebrating our traditional art forms. After a mesmerizing display of talent and cultural pride, Akbar House emerged as the winners of the competition, wowing the audience and judges with their synchronized movements and spirited performance on Garhwali Folk dance. Ranjit House, Ashoka House, and Teresa House secured the joint second position, each house delivering captivating performances that reflected their commitment to preserving and promoting cultural heritage through dance. The event was a true celebration of talent, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. The young dancers, adorned in colorful ethnic attire, mesmerized the audience with their graceful movements, rhythmic steps, and captivating expressions. The energy and enthusiasm they displayed were truly inspiring, showcasing their dedication and commitment to the art of dance. Alongside the celebration of collective talent, individual excellence also shone brightly at the Inter-House Folk Dance Competition. Five exceptional students were recognized for their outstanding performances and awarded trophies for their special contributions to the event- Mudrika Mishra, Aditya Jaitley, Sudhyant Kandari, Navya Dimri, and Divyansh Panthri. Their performances added an extra layer of brilliance to an already dazzling event, further affirming the power of dance as a means of cultural expression and personal enrichment.
