INTER HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION
"Dance is the hidden language of the soul." – Martha Graham On 19th October, the students of Grades 4 and 5 showcased their talent in the highly anticipated Inter House Dance Competition, where the theme of the day was "Fusion". The competition was judged by Mrs. Harveen Kaur, Activity Incharge of the Senior Wing at DIS, who praised the creativity and synchronization displayed by all participants. The competition was a spectacle of talent and creativity. Each house showcased its unique interpretation of the fusion theme, from Bollywood-inspired hip-hop to classical Indian dance infused with modern elements. The energy was palpable as the young dancers took to the stage, their expressions and movements captivating the audience. In a close contest, Ranjit House emerged as the winner, while Akbar House and Teresa House shared the second position. Ashoka House secured the third place. The event not only celebrated the students' artistic expression but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork, making it a memorable occasion for the entire school community.
