Interactive 3D mapping with Kinect style depth camera

Interactive system for building 3D maps with the depth camera underlying Kinect. The system processes the data in real time and warns the user when the collected data is not suitable for a map. The approach also suggests areas that have not yet been modeled sufficiently. Collaboration between Intel Labs Seattle and University of Washington Department of Computer Science & Engineering.
