In this Excel video tutorial, we're going to learn how to make an interactive chart in Excel that changes values automatically from a dynamic option list that we click and choose the criteria we want. To make this beautiful chart and modern chart in Excel we will basically need to do three things. The first is to have a dataset, a table, from which we will use the information to build our Excel chart. The second thing is to enable developer tab in excel. The Developer Tab in Excel contains many important tools in Excel, as well as many important features in Excel. One of the Excel tools that we are going to use to make this automated chart in Excel is a list of options, or even a combo box or form control or a checkbox in Excel or a dropdown list. And the third thing we're going to use is the index function in Excel. With the index function in Excel we managed to automate the column that our chart will need to use from our table. Based on the information we chose in the options box, the index function automatically changes the return of the column, the displayed result. Thus, we manage to make the chart automatic every time we choose a new option in the options box, the chart will be updated automatically. The chart that we are going to use is the column chart in Excel, but we can also use several other charts such as, for example, the bar chart or line chart or area chart or donut chart or pie chart or map chart or chart sunburst or scatter plot or any other chart you want. We can automate and make the graph dynamic and interactive with a box that gives options using the index function in Excel. #JopaExcel #Dashboard #Excel
