iOS Vault: Chopper Lite

iOS Vault is a series of video captures from iOS games I've played. Some of these are no longer available in the App store. I wanted to capture and preserve some video of them and put the videos online as unlike older video game systems, there aren't physical copies of iOS games laying around for people to find in the future. The game in this video is Chopper Lite. This is one of the first games I played on my first iPhone - the 3GS. The game is similar to Choplifter, a helicopter rescue game from the 1980s available in the arcade and on many home consoles of the era. The goal is to rescue the friendly people on the level without crashing. Sometimes enemies appear on the levels which can be killed using a machine gun or bombs for bonus points. The resolution is low because the graphics were designed for pre-Retina displays.
