Ran into an issue in where my iPhone 12 mini would not charge via the lighting cable. Called Apple and they informed me to clean the charging port.
Took a can of air duster and once I blew the port with compressed air, a lot of lint fabric came out. I had a feeling that was it after I saw all the material and confirmed phone was charging.
Looks like over time, fabric material collects in the port from your phone going in and out of your pocket. Quick fix that will save time and money.
