The plaintiff says her aunt is an irresponsible parent who let her young children run the streets. She claims she loaned her aunt her car, and the defendant crashed it, so she’s suing for damages. The defendant says if she were truly irresponsible, the plaintiff wouldn’t have left her children in her care while she went out partying. She insists no one was in the car when it rolled down a hill and crashed into a pole, and therefore she doesn’t believe she’s responsible for the damages. She is countersuing for defamation.
