ISLA2022 Opening Session

We are messed-up, but we do things! :) 6th Conference on Information Systems in Latin America (ISLA 2022) Virtually together, always! Planet Earth - August 8-10, 2022 Information Systems in Latin America (ISLA 2022) is an ancillary conference that is part of the Americas Conference of Information Systems (AMCIS 2022). It is organized by the Latin American and Caribbean Chapter of the Association for Information Systems. Conference goals The conference aims to discuss Information Systems’ role in society and, more specifically, the ways the discipline has evolved over the years, with special attention to the idiosyncrasies of IS research and practical application in Latin America. Authors are encouraged to submit papers or videos that contribute to the development of IS as a field of study and practice. Particularities of the region should be taken into account whenever they may lead to different approaches or different results to those the field has experienced elsewhere.
