It's Fall!
Ah, Fall is here! For a shining moment of crispness, clarity, brilliant blue skies, the reds, yellows and golds. And apples! As we take our walks, sit outside, take drives to see the foliage, try to stay completely in the moment. What is your favorite manifestation of Fall? The return of pumpkin spice? Apple cider? The colors? Cooler air? Let’s choose something to bring vividly to mind as we begin our guided meditation. Meditation for healthcare workers, cancer survivors, caregivers, and anyone curious about the healing benefits of mindfulness. Explore different meditation practices, including guided imagery, single-focus, and mindfulness meditation. This class supports beginners, as well as people who want to deepen their meditation practice. Studies indicate that mindfulness is an effective tool for managing stress, fear and pain, decreasing anxiety and improving well-being. You don’t need anything for class— just a place to sit comfortably. It’s very powerful to meditate in community.
