It was winter holiday time on the Island of Sodor. Thomas and Toby were bringing a Christmas tree over for the village feast on Toby’s branch line. Ever since the snow had fallen down heavily, Sir Topham Hatt tells the engines they were to have snowplough’s fitted. Thomas arrives at Callan station with the beautiful Christmas tree and arrives at Maithwaite to see Toby. There was a lot of snow on the ground. Thomas’s snowplough hit a rock and came loose and then the broken plow hit the water tower. They couldn’t go on. Thomas decided that the villagers need their tree so he tries again. It wasn’t easy but Thomas was determined. Finally Thomas and Toby pull into the village station. Thomas whistles and the villagers cheered when they saw their beautiful tree. “Hooray” they said. “Hooray.”
