IWCS 2025 Call for Technical Papers

You are invited to participate in the premier event for new technologies in cable & connectivity materials, products, processes and applications. Submit a brief 300–500 word abstract by April 25, 2025 that summarizes a technical innovation impacting the cable and connectivity industry. Abstracts will be reviewed by the IWCS 2025 Technical Symposium Committee and authors of accepted abstracts will get their work published and gain international exposure for themselves and their company during the 2025 IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum—and beyond! Examples of paper topics range from manufacturing processes of copper and optical fiber cables, innovative cable design, codes and standards, connectivity and assemblies, installation techniques, materials and extrusion processing, and more. IWCS offers two different options for showcasing technical research at the IWCS Cable & Connectivity Industry Forum. The Poster session is recommended for first-time presenters, students, or individuals who prefer one-on-one conversations about their displayed research poster. Alternatively, Technical Symposium presentations involve sharing on-screen visuals while speaking to a seated audience.
