Jet Engine Mechanical Analysis using Simcenter 3D

This animation demonstrates motion, thermal and structural capabilities of Simcenter 3D. It shows the rotating components spinning, followed by a 2D thermal transient analysis primarily using compressor rotor stages. It finishes with modal displacement results from a multi-stage 2D-3D analysis of the same compressor rotor stages used in the thermal analysis. Software used includes NX, Simcenter 3D, Simcenter Nastran, and Simcenter 3D Thermal.
