Jitte is an unusual kata as it is designed to defend against the Bo, making this the second kata to uses the Bo for defence and offence.
Jitte is the seventh Kata required for a black belt grading.
This kata can be performed in 4 ways.
1. Empty handed as demonstrated in this basic video
2. Empty handed defending against Bo attacks.
3. Bo in hand defending against the Bo.
4. Kata can be performed with the Bo - See kata Jitte no Bo at the end of video.
