Cross Country Fellowship Bible Study of the Book of John. This session covered John chapter 17 verses 5 through 19. John chapter 17 is Jesus' prayer that is often called the "High Priestly Prayer." The passage we discussed was Jesus praying for His disciples. Jesus said that those who believe in Him are gifts from God, the Father to Him. Jesus prayed that God would protect His disciples because He was leaving them. He also asked that God would help His disciples to be unified as God is unified.
