Jump Lesson - March 9 (Sully)

Lesson with Sully! Little introduction since he wasn't around in my more active YouTube days... Sullivan is a 16hh, 7 year old percheron/fresian cross who we bought in January of 2016. He's up and coming as one of our vaulting horses, as Quinn is 17 now and semi-retired. This is probably his 10th time jumping, and as you can see we introduced angle fences and a skinny panel. He's lovely to ride, very willing and brave, but still has a fairly undeveloped canter and can be quite strong. I left almost all of the clips in so you can see his progression through this exercise. It does look like it's quite tight for him, but we're working on having him back off a bit and shorten his stride. Just for reference, Azra, who's bigger than him, can canter into this exercise and do three strides quite comfortably.
