Killer7 Version Differences Guide: https://www.speedrun.com/Killer7/guide/vrviv Killer7 Version Differences Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWiGDBCbRlC0BwIxZgmWSbDU3qGSPhMai Critical Lock-On is an ability that allows you to lock-on to an enemy's critical point by pressing the L button, and it's normally unlocked by upgrading a character to L5 in all stats (L4 for Con/Kaede). However, on the Normal difficulty in the Japanese version, it's actually enabled by default even though it doesn't say so on the Ability page. When you upgrade a character enough to "unlock" it, the prompt still appears even though you already have the ability. As a result, JP Normal is easier than North American Normal. In addition, though it isn't shown in the video, you can hold a whopping 255 vials of thin blood in JP Normal; in JP Deadly, you can hold 77, which is still absurd. In localizing the game for the NA/PAL regions, they altered these elements, and I feel the localized version is more balanced overall. Side note: I sort of cheated with the TV sections here. In order to save time, the TV portions are actually on JP Killer8 with the serum code; it was just more convenient than grinding for blood on Normal since the TV would have looked identical anyway. That said, the shooting section is on JP Normal, and I can confirm the information stated in this description is true to the best of my knowledge. ***** Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/adrianvg/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/AdrianVG1_
