In this tutorial I show you how to knit and crochet an adorable mushroom pouch! With crochet hook and green yarn chain (ch) 4 and join with a slip stitch (sl st) to form a ring, chain 1. Row 1: Crochet 10 single crochet (sc) into the ring (10). Row 2: 2 sc in each st around (20). Row 3: *1 sc in the next st, 2 sc in the next st* repeat until the end of row (30). Row 4: *2 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st* repeat until the end of the row (40). Row 5-7: Slip stitch and ch 2 for these 3 rows, crochet hdc stitches in each st around (40). Knitting Instructions for Middle of Pouch: Row 1: Using the size 7 knitting needle and white yarn, pick up the front loop of each sc st and knit until st 14, place marker then start the chart. Row 2-13: Knit the chart. Row 14-22: Knit 9 more rows after the chart, using the main color yarn. Row 23: Bind off using Jeny's Super Stretchy Bind off. Crochet Instructions for Top of Pouch: Row 1: 1 sc into each bind off stitch around the top of the bag (40) Row 2: *3 sc, sc2tog* repeat until the end of the row (32). Row 3: 1 sc stitch in each stitch around (32). Row 4: *2 sc, ch 2 then skip 2 sts* repeat until the end of the row (16 sts and 8 ch sps). Row 5: *2 sc, 3 sc in ch sp* repeat until the end of the row (40). Row 6: 1 sc stitch in each st around (40). Row 7: *3 sc, ch 2 then skip 2 sts* repeat until the end of the row (24 sts and 8 ch sps). Row 8: *3 sc, 3 sc in each ch sp* repeat until the end of the row (48). Row 9: 1 sc in each st around (48). Bind off and weave in ends. Drawstring Instructions: Cut three strands of yarn in desired length for drawstring. Tie the strands together in a slip knot at one end. Using your croche hook, chain your 3 strands until you run out of yarn. Tie a knot at both end of the chain. Weave the drawstring through the first set of ch sps you created.
