Kyla Training 11/3/24 Shuffle-Shot-Pass Box Drill (Left) Set 1 -Shot 1: Too wide of a set stance and closed your eyes -Shot 2: Took your eye off of ball, but you put eye back on ball -Pass: Good pass Set 2 - Good eye. Catch ball on first shot - Ok catch but it should have been a scoop/basket catch - Good pass Set 3 - Try to catch on first interaction with ball - Good ground scoop - Good pass Set 4 - Good catch - Need to catch on first interaction with ball - Good pass Set 5 - Good hand placement but need to catch - Good scoop/basket - Good pass Set 6 - Good catch and keeping eye on ball - Took eye off of ball and hands crossed - Good pass Set 7 - Took eye off of ball and hands crossed - Solid catch - Good pass Set 8 - Hands are on top of ball when catching. This is why you need to use your leg to secure the ball - Good catch and keeping your eye on the ball - Not a controlled pass Shuffle-Shot-Pass Box Drill (Right) Set 1 - Took eye off ball/Hands in clapping motion - Keep eye on ball so that you can adjust your hands accordingly to catch the first time - Good pass Set 2 - Hands not gripping around ball (partially because of small hands) - Great scoop - Out of control pass/needs to be on the ground Set 3 - Good catch and good keeping your eye on the ball - Super solid catch - Good pass Set 4 - Hands crossed and too high on the ball - Solid catch - Good pass Set 5 - Eye off of ball and hands too high on ball - Opposite hand needs to be there quicker to catch ball - Decent pass Set 6 - Good catch/Hands a little low on ball - Awkward catch. Need to catch and then scoop secure, not awkwardly catch. - Decent pass Set 7 - Good catch - Hands too high that’s why you missed the initial catch - Good pass
