How to control a motor or similar device using L293D integrated circuit [motor driver] and Raspberry Pi [4 or 5]. In this video we use gpiozero, the current modern library for Raspberry Pi GPIO. This motor driver microchip and Motor class of the gpiozero library could be easily used to turn 1 or 2 motors on and off and switch their directions of rotation. You will see the complete schematic (wiring), the code and the real-life performance demo. This is a beginner-friendly Raspberry Pi robotics tutorial.
