And after that, boarding the same ship off to Luca so he could talk to her and get close to her so she might ask him to become her guardian. And maybe it worked, Yuna opened a bit to the male but didn't seem to ask for that favor. Eventually, he found himself becoming too close. Now seeing the summoner as more than a sarificial pillar for Sin's defeat, seeing a bit more Yuna. But he still held by the beliefs of Yu Yevon like most every other Spiran. In the end, it didn't seem to phase his decision to fight Sin. He joins the Operation Mi'ihen sidelines, telling Yuna that revenge is his reason to fight no matter who is involved with this plan. Yet it doesn't stop the hot-blooded ninja as he grabs Sin's attention when it wants leave. Sin turns to the lone standing human that has chased it. Easily, it brushes him aside, engulfing him in flames.
