EDTA forms strong coordination complexes with most metal ions and as such it is an excellent ligand for titration to determine metal ion concentrations in solutions. To understand these titrations, we will determine how to calculate the titration curve. We approach it both from a perspective of understanding the chemistry involved and then from the perspective of finding a computationally exact approach.
