Libbie Persico: Creativity Around Every Corner

South Coast artists. One trail. Endless stories. Libbie Persico is the type of artist who loves to play with different materials and ideas. Her current passion is an exploration of liquid paint where the canvas is laid flat and thinned paints are poured in layers then flicked, stroked, blown, dragged and tilted. The resulting paintings are dreamy fantastical garden scenes with a lively and whimsical mood. “I like that space that’s quite otherworldly … we live in a world where we rely on our five senses, but there’s more,” says Libbie.
