Linked Lookups

Linked Lookups make it possible to create truly connected, relational systems across your Cognito Forms. In this video, Isabelle walks through how Linked Lookups extend standard Lookup and Person fields by turning one-way references into two-way relationships. Instead of linking a record in only one direction, Linked Lookups keep both forms synchronized automatically. That means when you assign a laptop to an employee, the employee record shows the laptop and the laptop record also shows the assigned employee. If that laptop gets reassigned, both records update instantly without any manual cleanup. You’ll also see how this works in both single-selection and multiple-selection scenarios. First, Isabelle demonstrates a one-to-one relationship using Employees and Laptop Inventory, which is perfect for assets assigned to one person at a time.
