Lonely
I'm so lonely in my house I'm so lonely in my mind But I can be happy for a while If I take my old friend for a walk And I'm drinking whiskey with ice A bottle of beer... With everything that's nice And memories fall like bullets on my temple Give me a hammer to hit it on my anvil But morning comes and there you are, A figment of my mind... An unshakable fixation upon what's right Another day Another knock It sets the house on fire The beer is cold The bed unworn And empty shoes A lonely fridge A bread that's almost rotten A 6 pack transforms itself, Now there are only 5, And 4 they have remained, While 3 is pouring in my mouth A dance of two arises, Then only one remains. And zero for the present, An infinite will rise. The past has only minuses, And then the fun began.
