A stag in a forest, an arrow in the chest Flowers blossoming Birds chirping, gargling the blood. Melodies of nature Reverberating sounds of death Love and death mingling in the drought A cup of grain feeds me a fortnight. A mushroom sprouting, I pick it in my hands. A fractured part of dreams Alleviates the pain. A rumble in my stomach I feel another stench The hunger is becoming Oh, you! Excruciating crave! A light arises gently, And playfully collects Dead fragments of my skin That shed upon the leaves I watch the worms that squirm To masticate some food A mantis grabs her swords She owns all of the spoils Oh vengeance, the forest calls your name No place for fleeting feelings we call love A place of death and hunger is only to be seen Wrapped in a myriad of colors That you and me not only see But be.
