Hawaii, Hawaii, aka the Big Island, is the youngest in the island chain. Its coastline is predominantly comprised of jagged cliffs often mile-high. And wherever there are cliffs there exists a perpetual dance between the land and the ocean. LOVE EARTH SEA was shot amidst a grove of ironwood trees on the east rift zone of Kilauea one of the world's most active volcanoes at Mackenzie State Park. The magical quality of this area inspired Prema to use her camera in a different way - as one would use a brush to paint on canvas, to capture the story of the love affair between the earth and the sea.
