Lucy & Tommy 2024

The light came back on Easter Eve, 2024 when Lucy and I went out on our first date. These choices are not easy to make the older we get but every thing seemed to fall together as if it were meant to be. After over three years of losing Sylvia, my best friend, soulmate, love of my life, mother of our family and our rock I knew it was impossible to see her again and appreciate the decades of companionship we had. On the surface the encounter with Lucy seemed so perfect. We had so many things in common that it was an easy transition from darkness to light. We were inseparable, we communicated very well, we danced, we sang, we dined together, we went to the beach together, we rode bikes together, we made road trips together and we were involved in her family, a huge emptiness filled for me as my kids had shunned me and became upset with me because someone come into my life and fill the void they could not. Lucy would not replace their mother, that could never happen and it was never intended. They never really met Lucy or gave her a chance and that was not something I was pleased about. I created this video to respect our time together, the moments captured that were not included in other reels I have made. It was a good time, it was fun sprinkled with found memories I will never be forgot. I wish nothing but the best for everyone and also the grace of God and blessings as life moves on. Much Love, Tommy
