Map Rock is a large boulder on which ancient petroglyphs were carved. It is found along the Snake River in SW Idaho, south of Nampa. Some believe it depicts the Snake River valley and that it could be the oldest map in the world. This video shows scenes from part of a 100 mile loop motorcycle ride from the Boise area on a beautiful Fall day. The video starts near Nampa, continues through farm country to the Snake River and the site of Map Rock, then across the river and back through Marsing and more farm country.
