So if you're saying "I’m already tired of making things from scratch! Isn’t there an Easy -far more Lazy- way to do it?" The answer is "Yes, there is!" I wanted to make sure everyone got the very basics, but Boot Camp is Over, so here is the BIG SECRET.
The "Big Secret" in Max/MSP is that the Help Windows are, themselves, patchers. That means they can be unlocked and parts can be copied directly into YOUR patcher. This makes things go very quickly when you are trying to build complex patchers AND it is a great help for expanding your Max vocabulary. Remember, too, that if you steal a bunch of objects from a help file there will be a Help File for each and every one of those objects that you can also steal from! How great is that?
