After the ritual was performed, their inner eye opened. This one had it on their hand. It reminded me of… Part of me wanted to believe that their energy lay within this newly Lucid Dreamer, as a way to tell me they were watching over me. I do not know if there exists another form of life beyond ours, but it helped me feel better about what I was doing. I took the Lucid Dreamer to the outskirts of the City, explaining where they were and what was happening. However, I had failed to notice that the moon had risen, and the Fear was lurking.
