Bisa juga menggunakan Senter HP atau sumber cahaya yang lain. mBot akan bereaksi jika mendeteksi nilai intensitas cahaya sebesar 500. Dapat di variasikan tergantung keinginan dan sumber cahaya. Jika nilai intensitas cahaya rendah (mendekati 0) maka kondisi gelap.
