Meet UMD CPSE | Program Overview
The CPSE Program was established in Fall 2020. We focus on developing a workforce ready for a rapidly evolving technological landscape by offering courses in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science while fostering marketable skills relevant to industry needs. Our curriculum includes machine learning, hardware/software design, Internet of Things (IoT), wireless networks, full-stack development, robotics software and controls, and many others. There are several notable features of the program: - The diploma is granted by the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park. - The program is exclusively offered at The Universities at Shady Grove campus in Rockville, MD. - CPSE became the first cyber-physical systems engineering program in the U.S. to earn ABET accreditation at the undergraduate level! - CPSE offers small class sizes and intensive hands-on experience with two semesters of capstone design courses encompassing sophisticated projects.
